Footscray Street Art Walk (With A Stop For The BEST Donuts in the West)
We love wandering around Footscray, it's such an interesting suburb with so many awesome food choices! There are also plenty of fantastic walls around that aren't all that well known except to locals. This little self guided walking tour kicks off from Footscray station so you can arrive by bus, tram or train or I have marking some nearby free parking on the map if you prefer to come by car. The points of interest are in a loop so do them in whichever order you choose, the big decision being whether you would like to start with the famous Olympic Donuts or finish with them (or both, no judgement here folks!). I have also marked a nearby restaurant, Roti Road, and cafe, French Baguette, that are both great options to eat at with kids if you want to spend more time.
The photos are in order if you start at Trugo Lane and then Mechanics Way but there is no wrong way. There is also plenty more art around than I have marked and photographed so keep your eyes open and remember to look up!
This walk is fully accessible as are the food choices listed.
Olympic Donuts are open daily from 9.30am to 6pm with donuts costing 80c each.
