Melbourne Museum

Melbourne Museum is a fantastic natural and cultural history museum. The museum houses permanent dinosaur, taxidermy, insect, anatomy and Melbourne history collections along with the rainforest room, children's play area and the not to be missed First Peoples, Bunjilaka Aboriginal Cultural Centre.

Check out the Time Lens app, a specially developed digital treasure hunt that's sure to have you finding things you have never noticed before.
The Milarri Garden is part of the First Peoples centre and has an eel pond and cave with aboriginal rock art.
The rainforest is home to a bower bird and a tawny frogmouth, keep your eye out!

Immigration Museum

An intriguing look at the history of immigration in our country, told through objects, stories and interactive displays.

I Spy With My Little Eye is a program designed for kids 3-7. Explore the museum on the hunt for certain objects and explore the replica ship.
Add a wish to the wish tree.

Scienceworks

A completely interactive science museum with incredible technology to play around with. Currently there are exhibitions on future technology, Alice in Wonderland and Sports Science. The upper level is a science based indoor play centre with all sorts of fun rooms to discover.

Don't forget about the pumping station right down the back of the complex, lots to explore.
Add a planetarium show for a few dollars, animated docos are short and sweet and coupled with a presentation about the Melbourne night sky.
