She requested a soup can dress for the exhibition and spray painted her bike silver after seeing Fovever Bicycles, when it came to reviewing the new book 'Andy Warhol Ai Weiwei, An Art Book For Kids' there was only one girl for the job.
"Mena's Soup-er Book Review.
I like this book because... Of the activity where yu draw your own pet, just like Andy Warhol says "I never met a pet I didn't like".
On page 29 I like the picture of the soup-er can of soup.
On page 36 I like the picture of Ai Weiwei hold, drop and smash the vase that he made.
I would buy this book for people who want to be an Artist when they grow up. "
Mini, 6, has spent a lot of time looking through this book and doing the activities. It is a lovely companion piece to the exhibition and Studio Cats or as a stand alone book. It's well suited to primary school age children.
Warhol Weiwei, An Art Book For Kids is available at the NGV Design Store at the National Gallery of Victoria.
