Toddler Thursdays at Werribee Zoo

It’s no secret we LOVE the zoos, we have been Zoo Members for eight years now and have been regular visitors to both Melbourne and Werribee Zoo as the little folk have been growing up. I love that over time Zoos Victoria have always kept it interesting with new events and activities, especially for families. The latest of the new events is Toddler Thursdays at Werribee Zoo.

Toddler Thursdays is happening every Thursday over 9 weeks at Werribee Open Range Zoo and will be bringing the African Village to life. Werribee Zoo have created a unique experience for our visitors, where you can take part in a range of interactive activities –  like face painting, crafts, song and  dance, and more – while learning how people and animals live in a shared environment. Each week features a different ambassador animal, with the day’s activities tying into this and one of Zoos Victoria’s conservation campaigns. It’s designed to be a perfect day out (beyond the school holidays) for mums with young kids aged one to five
