Serendip Sanctuary is a lovely little wildlife sanctuary in Lara, between Melbourne and Geelong. The sanctuary has several walking tracks that are all fully accessible. These tracks take you through fenced enclosures and open areas where you can spy wildlife.
There are plenty of bird hides around the sanctuary to watch the large bird population. Today we spotted dozens!
It's a great mix of bush and enclosures so you are guaranteed to see birds and animals.
There are signs to Serendip Sanctuary from the highway so it's easy to find and there's free parking on site.
Open daily 8am-4pm, free entry.
