Scienceworks will be opening the doors to Ground Up tomorrow morning and it’s sure to be a hit with the preschoolers!
Ground Up is a permanent exhibition that has been built to foster a life long love of science. Scienceworks has incorporated STEM (science, technology, engineering and mathematics) activities into the play zones so kids will be learning as they play.
This exhibition has been built to replace Nitty Gritty Super City but is located on the ground floor, not in the old upstairs location. It has some nice call backs to Nitty Gritty but has much more in common with its cousin, the play space at Melbourne Museum.
Check out our video of Ground Up in action on Instagram or Facebook.
The space is all fully accessible and toilets and a change room are built into the exhibition space. Entry to Ground Up is included with your Scienceworks ticket.
