Triennial at NGV

Triennial at NGV

Triennial opened today at the National Gallery of Victoria. This exhibition brings together work from over 100 artists from around the world and is free to enter. There are projections, sculpture, a dedicated Kids’s Space, interactive exhibits and so much more. Luckily Triennial is here all summer because it will take at least a couple of visits to cover it all!

The Triennial exhibition is spread over the gallery and also outside but many of the exhibits are on the ground floor in the traveling exhibition space.

The new Kids Space: We Make Carpets, invites kids to use everyday objects (pool noodles, rope, felt) to make enormous tapestries on the walls. This area is totally hands on and will appeal to kids if all ages!

Triennial is located at NGV International on St Kilda Road. The exhibition is open daily and entry is free. NGV is a fully accessible building with easy access to public transport.
