Wall to Wall Festival, Benalla
Benalla has just hosted the third annual Wall to Wall Street Art Festival and the town looks incredible! Melbourne street art fans will recognise the work of Adnate, Rone, Kaffine and many more. There are also many interstate artists joining in on the fun.
We spent all of Sunday exploring the town and watching the talented artists, that had come from all over the country, finish off their murals. The festival is held over three days only but the murals and installations are permanent so you can visit Benalla anytime and admire them.
There is a map of all the art locations available at the Benalla Art Gallery (on the left as you enter Benalla from the Hume Hwy). You can also find plenty just by exploring the town yourself.
We can recommend grabbing a bakery lunch, it's a road trip- do it! And if you need a break from paint explore the grotto playground down by the lake.
The festival will be back again early next year so follow Wall to Wall on Instagram or Facebook to keep up to date with future plans.
Benalla is an easy two hour drive north of Melbourne. It makes a perfect pit stop on the way to Sydney or Canberra.
